Seizurone OX 300mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE
Seizurone OX 300mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Seizurone OX 300mg Tablet can make you feel dizzy or drowsy especially at the start of treatment. If you are affected in this way, or if your eyesight is affected, you should not drive.
CAUTION
Seizurone OX 300mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Seizurone OX 300mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Seizurone OX Tablet
Seizurone OX 300mg Tablet is used in the treatment of seizures, trigeminal neuralgia and mania.
How to use Seizurone OX Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Seizurone OX 300mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Seizurone OX Tablet works
Seizurone OX 300mg Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Common Skin rash, Nausea, Vomiting, Sleepiness, Dizziness, Fatigue, Coordination impaired, Decreased white blood cell count.

Seizurone ox is safe if used at prescribed doses for the prescribed duration as advised by your doctor
Q. Is Seizurone ox a controlled drug/ an opiate?
No. Seizurone ox is not a controlled drug or an opiate

Yes. It is an enzyme inducer. Please check with your doctor if you are taking other medications, which may get altered when taken together
Q. Is Seizurone ox an antidepressant/ MAOI/ benzodiazepine?
Seizurone ox is an antidepressant. It is not an MAOI or benzodiazepine
Q. Can I take paracetamol/ Tylenol/ tramadol/ ibuprofen/ Advil/ amoxicillin/ codeine/ Nyquil/naproxen/ oral contraceptives with carbamazepine?
All the above mentioned drugs may interact with carbamazepine. Please consult with your doctor before taking this medication. Always consult your physician for the change of dose regimen or an alternative drug of choice that may strictly be required
Q. Does Seizurone ox cause weight loss or weight gain/ hyponatremia/ help anxiety/depression/ gingival hyperplasia make you tired/ cause high blood pressure?
Seizurone ox causing the above mentioned side effects are commonly or rarely observed. It is not known to cause gingival hyperplasia and high blood pressure. Please consult your doctor if you experience such side effects.
